BTW, nobody asked me for my parents consent.
On October 9th, Governor Jerry Brown signed into law a bill that prevents minors from utilizing tanning beds. (backed by health-care groups) California is the 1st state to adopt this legislation, and will go into effect January 1.
Under current law, children 14 and younger cannot use the beds, however those ages 15 – 17 can do so with permission from their parents.
Teenager or Adult we are all taking the risk when using a tanning bed or trying to get a tan at the beach or pool side. Protect your health and your skin, you owe it to yourself.
